How do automatic recommendations work?

Automatic recommendations are the core of the Frequently Bought Together app.

They are built automatically by our algorithm using your previous sales data and other factors. The recommendations for one product will be the products that are usually bought together with it, sorted from more frequent to less frequent bought together.

In the app dashboard, you can see the state of the automatic recommendations processing:

The bigger your sales history is the better the recommendations will be. Particularly, recommendations will be superior if your orders / products ratio is high (you have way more orders than products). Note that processing all your orders history after installing may take a few seconds even minutes. After that, new orders are automatically processed by the app.

Automatic recommendations are enabled by default and we recommend keeping them enabled, as they lead to higher conversion rates. You can manage them in the Bundle tuning section:
