Does Also Bought work on Shopify POS (Point of Sale)?

Also Bought has been compatible with the Shopify Point of Sale (POS) Product Recommendations Extension since September 2020. This integration offered the possibility of having direct access to powerful product-based recommendations in POS devices.

At the beginning of October 2024, the integration which was in place stopped working and Also Bought recommendations didn’t appear in POS devices anymore. After a thorough investigation, it seemed this was because Shopify planned to phase out POS product recommendations extensions in February 2025 and, for this reason, they were not supporting it any longer.
