Redirect policy after adding products to the shopping cart

On our app preferences page, you can choose the redirect policy applied when a customer adds a product to the shopping cart with the 'Add to Cart' button. You can find the below preference inside the Advanced preferences:

With the policies 'Redirect to cart page' or 'Redirect to checkout', the app will automatically redirect your customers to the cart page or to the checkout process after clicking on the 'Add to cart' button.

If the policy 'Remain on the same page' is selected, when your customers click on the 'Add to cart' button, the button will display the text 'Added' for some seconds, so that the customer realizes that the product has been added to the cart, then it will return to the original text (both texts are configurable in the 'Visual Preferences') and they will remain on the product page:

Finally, the policy 'Theme default' will trigger the theme default behaviour after adding products to the shopping cart. For the most popular themes in Shopify, the shopping cart icon will be updated, and the pop-up or drawer cart will be opened if it is configured in the store theme settings, replicating the behaviour from the product page (add to cart button).

For themes that are not supported yet, customers will remain on the current page just as it happens when the policy 'Remain on the same page' is selected.
