Can I change the 'Add to cart' button text after adding a product to the shopping cart?

Of course. If you have selected the Remain on the same page redirect policy option in the Advanced preferences, your customers will remain on the collection page after clicking on the 'Add to cart' button, and you might want the button text to change to inform that a product has been already added to the shopping cart.

To do so, go to the Visual preferences and configure the Button text after the product has been added to the shopping cart value:

Take into account that the Remain on the same page redirect policy option has to be selected in the Advanced preferences to visualize the Button text after the product has been added to the shopping cart option in the Visual preferences.

Take as well into account that, if the After adding a product to the cart, recover the original Add to cart button after a short time option is enabled the 'Added' text will be displayed just for a short time, and then the button will be enabled again with 'Add to cart' text, so that your customers can add the product to the cart again.
