How do I add translations for the widget texts from the preferences pages?

Keep & Share Your Cart widget translations can be created directly from our preferences pages. To do so, go to the Advanced preferences section:

Enable the Display the widget texts translated when available option, Save the changes, and click on the Translate widget texts button:

Select the language you want to translate and click on Load language translations. In the example below, Spanish language is selected:

Whenever translations don't exist, your online store displays content in your primary language. In the example below, English is the primary language:

However, if we add translations:

the widget will display those specific translations:

You can also add customized translations of a language for different markets using the Adapt button:

Please note that to adapt a language to a specific market, it's necessary to add the default translations of that language first.

For example, if we adapt the Spanish language to the Mexican market by changing the title text from 'Comparte tu carrito' to 'Comparte tu cesta':

when accesing from Mexico, users will see this customized translation:

Please note that versions customized for markets are only visible to customers in those markets.
