How the Live preview works?

We created the Live Preview feature to make it much easier for you to see how the design changes of your widget will look before you save them.

You will find it within the Visual Styles section on the app preferences pages.

How Does It Work?

This feature loads a sample of your widget exactly as it would appear on your store, using the colors and appearance of your current Shopify theme.

• Most Realistic Scenario: It shows you how the widget will look like on your actual store, allowing you to experiment with styles safely.

• Adjust Without Fear: Thanks to this, you can make and undo changes to colors, fonts, and other visual settings before saving them, ensuring the result is perfect.

Key Things to Know About the Live Preview

To ensure the Live Preview always works and shows you something useful, we include a few sample details:

• The products you see are examples:
  • We use example products and recommendations, so the preview always has content to display. Why? Because your store might currently have 0 products, or your recommendation rules might not apply at that moment. This way, you will always see the widget.
• You will see one product and two recommendations:

  • We have limited space on the configuration screen. Therefore, we show a small configuration (one main product and two recommendations), which is the most common setup.

    To see the widget with the exact number of recommendations you have configured (e.g., if you set it to 4), we recommend you:

    1. Finish your visual customization and save your changes.
    2. Visit one of your store's product pages to see it in action.
