How the analytics data are gathered?
Keep & Share Your Cart provides key metrics to help you understand how customers interact with the shared cart functionality. These insights allow you to evaluate the app's impact on your store and optimize your conversion strategy.
How Data is Gathered
Our statistics are collected based on two primary interaction events:
- Shared Carts Created: This metric is recorded every time a customer uses the app to generate a unique link and share their current shopping cart.
- Shared Cart Conversions (Clicks): This is counted when a recipient clicks on a shared link, is successfully redirected to your store, and the items are automatically added to their basket.
Similar to other JavaScript-based tracking tools, external factors such as ad-blockers, "Do Not Track" browser settings, or aggressive caching may cause slight variations in the total count.
⚠️ Important Note on Data Accuracy
Please treat these analytics as behavioral trends and indicators rather than exact accounting figures. The primary goal is to provide a clear view of whether cart sharing is increasing and how effectively it drives returning traffic to your store.
Data Calculation Rules
To help you better understand the figures displayed in your dashboard, please refer to the following criteria:
