Reusing discount codes

For security reasons, discounts created by Frequently Bought Together app are only for one use, and they are deactivated if, after a cart update, the products in the cart don't match the discount requirements anymore. This leads to create multiple discount codes for discounts with the same configuration (see Why are new discount codes created every time?).

Although this is the expected behavior, in case you are not comfortable with this situation and want to avoid discount code duplication, you can go to the Advanced preferences and allow discount code reuse:

In case you decide to reuse discount codes, please note there's no limit to how many times they can be used. Therefore, if you change the discount settings in the Frequently Bought Together dashboard and no longer want a previous discount to be used, remember to manually deactivate or remove it from the Shopify Admin discounts section.
