Will my app data be preserved?

Yes. Frequently Bought Together preserves your app data, although certain retention limits and subscription plan restrictions apply.

Your manual recommendations (manual bundles), app settings, historical analytics, and other app-generated data are retained even if you switch to the Starter plan.

What happens if I switch to the Starter plan?

Switching to the Starter plan does not delete your existing data. However, some information and features may no longer be accessible because they are only available on higher-tier plans.

Your data remains stored and can be accessed again when you switch to a plan that includes those features.

What happens if I uninstall the app?

When you uninstall Frequently Bought Together, your app data is preserved for up to 6 months after uninstallation, with one important exception regarding historical analytics.

Upon uninstallation, analytics data older than one year is permanently deleted. Only analytics data from the most recent 12 months is retained.

Other app data, including manual recommendations and configuration settings, is preserved during the 6-month retention period.

If you reinstall the app on the same Shopify store within those 6 months, your previously saved data will still be available, subject to your subscription plan's features and the analytics retention limit described above.

Please note that data retention is not guaranteed if the app has been uninstalled for more than 6 months.
