Does Video Background have video-player controls (play, stop, timeline, etc)?

As the app's primary goal is configuring  background videos, the app does not have player controls similar to online streaming services such as YouTube and Vimeo.

This is why you won't be able to see a progress bar, neither the current time and video duration nor playback controls, like sound options or change the quality of the video.

However, the app can show some basic control icons, particularly a play / pause button and a mute / sound button:

You can configure those options in the app preferences page under the ' Settings' option:

On the Video Preferences page, you will see the following section, in which you can enable multiple buttons to control the video:
