App auto-configuration on theme publication

In order to match your theme styles better and provide a smoother experience, some app settings are automatically tuned when you publish a theme as your main store theme.

This is very convenient in most cases, particularly when you add a completely new theme to your store, as the app will be configured to perfectly fit your new theme.

However, some merchants prefer to have complete control over the app styles so this auto-configuration process can be disabled from the app preferences page.

To do that, just go to the app preferences dashboard page and search for the section Advanced preferences, once there, go down the page to the Auto-configuration feature:

Uncheck the box if you would like to disable auto-configuration and then click save.
