What is the correct currency symbol position?
On a first approach, you might think that the currency symbol ($, £, €) is located on the left-hand side for some currencies and on the right-hand side for others. However, that is not the case.
The currency symbol position is related to the language (and language variant) and not the currency.
Some languages, like English, show the currency symbols on the left side while others, like French, show it on the right side.
Consequently, your customers will see it on one side or the other depending on their browser locale (language and language variant, like 'Canadian English' or 'Mexican Spanish').
For example, in Canada, you will see it on the left side on the English-speaking provinces and you will see in on the right on the French-speaking provinces:
Currency Converter+ detects your customers' browser language and format the prices correctly according to their language. Some customers will see the currency symbol on the left-hand side and others on the right-hand side.
